Main Job Purpose:
Develop in-depth and detailed technical knowledge of Laetus equipment to conduct the installation, calibration, maintenance, service and support of Laetus equipment and systems. Field-response to support all Laetus equipment

Key Accountabilities:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Trouble shoot and repair all assigned systems to the appropriate level, ensuring that the system is returned to full operation in accordance with its performance specification and within a cost effective time frame for Laetus and for the customer.
- Experience with all facets of the project life cycle, from proposal, specifications, design, implementation, installation, through start-up.
- Initiate Field Service Reports for each customer visit/repair in order to document instrumental and/or customer problems and the resolution of those problems. Provide data for installations, warranty and customer/instrument history.
- Submit in a timely manner all reports including but not limited to (Installation, Service, Schedule, expenses) and information on recurring or potential problems.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on machinery as required; report back on issues, orders and parts needed. Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times.
- Cleans and lubricates parts, equipment, and machinery. As needed, assembles, wires and plumbs panels, install controls/integrates with equipment.
- Understand and control available resources to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with customers concerning the status of repair and or safety issues arising from work on their system, in a timely manner. Ensure customer dissatisfaction does not occur by establishing a time based escalation procedure.
- Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving.
- Identify and diagnose problems with little information remotely and on location. Problem-solving tasks may include resolving mechanical/software issues; resolving operating system bugs; and reinstalling software or hardware.
- Train customer on machine operation with the end goal of the Laetus equipment operating at optimum capacity for customer efficiency.
- Prioritize and manage own travel schedule, visiting customers in designated region. Make sure machinery is in great working order and that the customers have designs and software updates as needed.
- Enhance the customer’s positive experience with Laetus by recognizing their needs and providing solutions that meet and often surpass those needs.
- Exercise independent discretion and judgment in execution of his duties. Plan and organize oneself in a reliable and consistent manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of business information; perform computer data entry in a conscientious manner. Be able to travel two or more times per month, dependent upon scheduling.
- Additional duties may be assigned as determined by management.

Experience required:
- Minimum of 3 years experience / knowledge of electrical systems / design gained primarily through extensive design and/or practical engineering systems experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in programming on Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC’s. Programming will require experience with ladder logic and function-block diagram. Experience with Mitsubishi PLC a plus.
- Proficiency in control programming and program modification for industrial style PLC and/or PC controls a plus.
- Experience with Windows and PLCs. Ability to troubleshoot PC errors and PLC functions remotely and on location.
- Carry out fault finding on PLC-controlled systems, back-up programs and restore them back to PLCs.
- Excellent customer service/soft skills.
