Internship Description

About Hyderabad Council Of Human Welfare:

HCHW is an NGO that focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation and mainstreaming of children who do not know the joys of schooling. This includes children living on streets or railway platforms, slogging as laborers, begging on the streets, scraping a living as rag pickers or suffering as victims of trafficking and HIV/AIDS.

This internship program is developed through a collaboration between AIESEC, the American university in Cairo and the Indian government to improve the business sector of the two countries, develop the skills of youth and provide them with International marketing professional experiences which enable them better understand the dynamics of markets abroad. 

India:

Home to the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation and a region of historic trade routes and vast empires, the Indian subcontinent was identified with its commercial and cultural wealth for much of its long history which fulfils one of the core values of the program that aims at providing the interns with intense cultural experiences and thus enabling them to develop a global mindset needed in the 21st century.

Job Description:

  • Undertake complete Promotion, Marketing, Communication & Branding activities.
  • Writing and printing of Annual Report, Designing Brochure, flyers etc when necessary.
  • Website content management and design.
  • Research Management
  • Relationship Management
  • Complete responsibility of Documentation & MIS System & Compilations.
  • Project indicators outcomes , effective direction and finalization.
  • Maintain database of existing, former and prospective donors so as to keep them alive (Donor Retention)


Measurable results expected from the intern:

  • Established business partnership with at least 40 – 50 new donor organizations from overseas.
  • Website content updated and promoted for mobilization of online donations.
  • Annual report is written and designed within one month of completion of reporting year in March.
  • Designed and developed different types of promotional and communication material for the non profit.
  • Promotion and strengthening of the work and impact of the non profit through social media.
  • Preparing and finalizing measuring indicators for all the projects of the non profits.

Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship:

  •   360$ per month


Duration of the Internship:

  • 52-78 Weeks

Internship Requirements

  • Fluency in English.
  • Maximum age 30 years old.
  • Good analytical writing skills.
  • Ability to approach and contact top corporate Organizations.
  • Good Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Basic understanding of the sector.
  • Self  motivated & result oriented.
  • Good articulation, convincing and negotiation abilities.
  • Starting Date is set between November and December 
Applicants of Filtered CVs will be required to attend an orientation session at the American University in Cairo about the program before passing to the next selection process.
