Job Description
- Preschool teachers help young learners prepare for kindergarten through interactive play and games.
- Preschool teachers help their students learn mainly through play and interactive activities, focusing on children's play to learn English language and vocabulary development. A preschool teacher might use storytelling , rhyming and acting games to improve social skills or introduce scientific and mathematical concepts included in small-group lessons, one-on-one instruction and learning through creative activities, such as music and art.
- A preschool teacher needs to be proficient in helping children learn how to cooperate, providing fun learning activities suitable for preschoolers, keeping children safe, working as a team member with other teachers and interacting with parents.
- Coursework in a preschool teacher degree program and duties to be implemented may include:
- Child development
- Montessori
- Classroom management and behavior
- Curriculum methods
- Instructional design
- Instructional resources and technology
- Parent-child relations
- Plan and carry out a curriculum that targets different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills
- Organize activities so children can learn about the world, explore interests, and develop talents
Develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring problems to the attention of parents
- Keep records of the students’ progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development
Job Requirements
Required Education:
- Bachelor's for Kindergarten, Education or Alsun English Department
Required Experience:
- At least 2 years in kindergarten practicing the same duties, or a school teacher for KGS with proven record of achievements in the field.
