Treasury Accountant

Jotun Paints Egypt was established in 1986, and has its head office in Cairo. Today, Jotun Egypt has more than 300 employees and is the leading supplier of Decorative, Protective and Marine Coatings in Egypt. The company has a distinguished production facility in Ismailia, 3 sales offices nationwide and 3 stock points.

We are in search for Junior Accountant to be a part of our family. He/She will be responsible for cash management, prepare foreign payments and bank correspondence. On return he/she will be working within a learning environment were one can develop different skills and abilities.

Job Description

• Follow up monthly Bank Reconciliation to ensure company bank account balances are updated with the company records
• Prepare Foreign Payments on due dates for suppliers to ensure smooth raw material supplies
• Manage the company cash movement between bank accounts to guarantee company obligations are met effectively and on designated time
• Maintain good relationship with banks representatives to make sure that all documentations and other transactions are completed efficiently
• Mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions to ensure financial stability
• Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
