Job Description
- Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
- Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
- Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery, and respond to their inquires, RFQ's and tenders and preparing technical/ commercial offering.
- Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
- Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
- Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff; costing engineering changes.
- Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering application trends.
- Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements
- The required caliber must possess one to four years of experience in Electro-Mechanical, control products/ solutions sales and knowledge of its related technology.
- Possession of Bachelor of engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Communication).
- Good knowledge and have experience of (power, water& waste water, oil & gas, industrial, Electromechanical contractors/ consultants) sectors.
- Demonstrated flexibility and excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work and function independently completing a high volume of forms and variety of tasks accurately and with close attention to detail under pressure of deadlines with frequent interruptions or distractions.
- Ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
- Must be results-orientated, self motivated, able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Must possess strong presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to write professional emails, reports and RFP's.
