Job Description
- Support Engineer performs a variety of implementation and development assignments requiring wide knowledge of company products, database engines, operating systems, established programming procedures and data processing requirements.
- Installs, implements, develops, customizes, integrates and tests the implemented solution based on architectural and design requirements.
- Diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical problems.
- Answers customer’s inquiries in a timely manner.
- Follow up the pending requests/issues with the customer.
- Keeping track of all issues and fixes.
- Ability to understand java code and do minor code changes to fix issues if required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or similar field).
- Good English skills (Oral/Written).
- Recommended to have a good level of knowledge in Java / J2EE development.
- Recommended to have experience in Java applications support.
- Experience in Oracle Database SQL/PL SQL.
- Excellent Research skills.
- Good experience with customer communication.
- Experience with different operating system platforms such as Linux/Unix or Windows Servers.
- Experience in different Java application servers (WebLogic, Tomcat).
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience/Knowledge with Java memory analysis is a plus.
