Job Description
This administrator position focuses on design, deployment, and administration of the GIS databases. This position is also an escalation point of support for deployed systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform remote installation of ESRI software (ArcMap/ArcSDE) for project deployments.
- Configure GIS databases with ArcSDE and/or SQL replication update processes.
- Create and Update SQL scripts according to project requirements.
- Create and Update ESRI models according to project requirements.
- Receive, process, and final load of client GIS data into production GIS database systems.
- Creation of GIS data backup routines.
- Creation of documentation for procedures and project installation details.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in GIS, Computer Science or closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with ESRI software (ArcSDE, ArcMap,etc)
- Expertise in ESRI software: ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS licensing.
- ArcSDE GIS database creation, management, and replication.
- SQL&Oracle database administration and replication.
- Microsoft Office software suite for documentation.
