Job Description
The engineer would have to work different shifts. We have no information, how these are set up.
- Provide 2nd level support for Windows/Linux physical and virtual server environment
- Monitor system-generated alert messages and report possible problems
- Implement and maintain HP AMS system management monitoring tools
- Hand-on experience iLO configuration / firmware upgrading
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media and sent off site as necessary
- Manage the data center and computer host systems including hardware, software and other equipment.
- Document standards, implementation procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
- Provide proactive analysis based on trends in order to improve the customer infrastructure and health of the daily operations.
- Knowledge of HP service center or other ticket management system.
- Create incident tickets for identified issues
