Job Description

  • Document financial transactions and reconcile financial discrepancies.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet and other financial reports.
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Secure financial information by completing data base backups.
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing related information and trends.
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Perform basic financial tasks such as preparation of cheques and vouchers, handling the company’s petty cash and its statements and preparing tax reports.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Proficiency in excel is essential)
  • Familiarity with a financial ERP system is preferred
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to work under heavy pressure and handle routine
