Job Description
Egyptians Pharmacists are required to work in Doha, Qatar
- Prepare periodic reports regarding the Departments activities and achievements to be submitted to the pharmacy head.
- Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the pharmacy head.
- Responsibility for the operation within the pharmacy in conformance with all statutes and regulations pertinent to the pharmacy practice.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are met, and that all necessary records are kept/maintained.
- Maintain custody and control records of narcotics and controlled drugs.
- Assure that all prescription drugs and controlled substances are safe and secure in the pharmacy.
- Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their compatibility with different medications and other patients conditions.
- Plan, implement, or maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, or labeling pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements, to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal. Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by Physicians; calculating, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
- Analyze patient prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.
- Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
- Collaborate with other health care professionals to plan, monitor, review, promote or evaluate the quality or effectiveness of drugs or drug regimens, providing advice on drug applications or characteristics.
- Review and verify accuracy of records of contracts prescriptions dispensing and hold responsibility for all dispensing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a related field.
- Planning, organization and detail orientation.
- Client oriented.
- Negotiating/Influencing Skills.
- Conflict resolution skill.
- Professional knowledge in Pharmacy principles, Management methods, and applications.
- Professional knowledge in Pharmaceutical Industry
