Job Description
- Overseas operation and performance of System admin team
- Supervises systems maintenance
- Establishment of development and maintenance strategies of the Microsoft Server Platform
- Suggest fine tuning and improvements of the platform and architecture
- Design and establishment of security policy
- Managing the Microsoft Server Platform
- Checking the success of daily operations on servers and resolving of daily issues
- Plan for and implement backup operations
- Resolving servers and client issues escalated by system administrator
- Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement
- Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records
- Research new technology and implement it or recommend its implementation
- Maintain an inventory op parts for emergency repairs
- Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science/Information System
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in the same field
- Microsoft MCSA, MCITP and MCTS are MUST
- Experience in managing EMC, IBM storage systems and IBM tape library backup system
- Experience in managing IBM and DELL servers (RAID configuration, Handling HW problems)
- Managing Active Directory to include implementation of GPOs, support of file and print services, DNS, Domain Controller replication and organizational unit management
- Managing Windows systems including Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012
- Working with Virtual Infrastructure (Microsoft Hyper-V)
- Working with System Center System Family 2012, Lync 2010 and Lync 2013
- Must be able to work nights and weekends during scheduled maintenance
- Practical experience working with the implementation of infrastructure
