Job Description
- Carry out day to day financial accounting and bookkeeping activities as per accounting standards and policies set forth.
Supporting Documents
- Review supporting documents to accounting transactions making sure they are thorough, complete and properly authorized as per policies.
Sub-Ledgers
- Record and maintain sub-ledger accounting entries – receivables, payables, assets – ensuring compliance with established standards and policies.
General Ledger
- Accurately record, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounting entries.
Cash
- Execute cash and bank transactions including payments, receipts and bank reconciliations in line with policies and standards.
Project Accounting
- Record and maintain projects’ accounting entries, overhead allocations, revenue and costing reporting in line with standards.
Legislative Requirements
- Calculate periodic tax amounts and file returns in line with legislative deadlines and requirements.
Reporting
- Prepare accounting and ledger reports in line with established reporting framework.
Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
- Comply with all relevant quality, safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls in line with established policies, procedures and standards.
