Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:-

  • Manage and co-ordinate quality control activities designed to ensure accurate and reliable analysis consistent with established standards.
  • Conduct checks of quality standards that have been identified by each unit within the Department.
  • Supervise and participate in Quality related processes and resolve any problems that arise.
  • Develop, manage, monitor and modify schedules for the preparation, analysis and reporting of quality related processes to ensure timely and efficient processing.
  • Develop, manage, and analyse statistical data and specifications to ensure that the present testing standards meet organisational quality standards.
  • Develop, manage and maintain internal quality procedures.
  • Develop and manage data mining tools to ensure effective and reliable analysis in order to document quality control results.
  • Prepare and manage quality assurance reports.
  • Manage and co-ordinate compliance with procedures to assure standards.
  • Identify, manage and co-ordinate the resolution of problems when results of analyses do not meet standards.
  • Manage and supervise the archiving of sample data and storage of samples received for analysis.
  • Manage and assist and with the co-ordination of quality improvement activities within the organisation.
  • Assist with the introduction, implementation and evaluation of current quality improvement approaches and methods.
  • Review and analyse processes from quality/cost viewpoint.
  • Coach and train colleagues on quality systems, approaches and methods.
  • Facilitate and co-ordinate ‘Quality’ teams.
  • Assist teams in customer focused planning and problem solving.
  • Assist teams with plan-do-check-act stages of the quality processes including implementation of the changes.
  • Assist with policy development review and identification of any policy implications related to Quality.
  • Maintain focus of the organisation on opportunities for improvement.
  • Track and report progress of teams' activities, orally and in writing, on a continuous basis.
  • Oversees and co-ordinates special projects for the department, as assigned.
  • Serve as an internal consultant regarding Quality related issues.
  • Serves on strategic planning boards, and committees.
  • Act as a liaison between department managers and other staff as appropriate.
  • After careful deliberation, analysis and liaison with other Managers (If Any) the person will have the authority to stop production when production does not meet quality standards.

Job Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:-

  • Male/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Administrative, Business, or related Discipline.
  • 3-5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Fluent in English
  • Age not more than 35 years
