Job Description
Web Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, developing, deploying and evaluating web projects according to predetermine timelines & budget. Building and managing project teams, and ensuring quality control throughout web project life cycles are central to this position.

- Gather and document business requirements
- Manage project development from initiation to closure
- Create project summary documents, Ensure all project documents are safely achieved following project completion
- Manage project work flows, deadlines, and resources
- Be accountable for project results along with project sponsor
- Work with project sponsor to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing
- Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task
- Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed
- Cleary communicate expectations to team members
- Advanced understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manager risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications
- Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms
- Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to sponsor
- Lead well under pressure, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
- Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution
- Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
- Report out on status of multi projects

- Knowledge of project management concepts, methodologies and tools
- Must be able to coordinate and facilitate discussions, meetings and project oriented workshops
- Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following: software development life cycles, web technologies and web development processes
- Strategic, operational, and technical management skills
- Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Experience:
- University degree or college diploma in business or a related field
- 3-5 years work experience in project management
- Familiarity with project management tools and software packages
- Experience with and working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio and Excel
- Experience implementing technical or software solution
