Job Description

The Marketing and Administration Manager has two equally important focus areas: The first is to drive the club's development and growth, and the second is to ensure that all operations are adequately controlled and documented. Responsibilities include:
  • Sales of gala dinners and events for corporate and private guests
  • Promote the club among its target audience, and acquire new customers. Develop and maintain the Swiss Club's presence in social media
  • Network with current and future guests and members in order to collect feedback and suggestions
  • Manage the Club's agenda. Propose and organize distinctive Club activities and events
  • Supervise Finance and Purchasing. Control the club's monthly expenses and overall financial results
  • Supervise personnel administration for all employees
  • Manage facilities including maintenance, gardening, cleaning and security (except kitchen and food stores). Help to make sure the venue is clean and attractive at all times.
  • Prepare presentations and reports about Swiss Club activities
  • Supervision of the Swiss Cemetery which is located in Old Cairo The position holder reports directly to the board of the Swiss Club. The working contract is 48 hours, six days a week with regular work on weekends.

Job Requirements

  • Know-how and experience in marketing and social media
  • Know-how and experience in business management for a small company or NGO
  • Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit
  • At least 10 years experience, thereof 4 years in a similar position
  • Service orientation
  • Leadership and assertiveness
  • Organized and systematic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • English excellent spoken and written, Good Arabic spoken
  • French or German fluency is an advantage
  • Be a good team player
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Readiness to perform all kinds of tasks according to situational needs
