Job Description:
  • Coordinate, schedule, and plan project timelines to ensure effective use of resources.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage digitization project functions and timelines.
  • Train, supervise and coordinate the work tasks of and digitization project staff.
  • Develop and maintain quality control standards for all digital imaging, processing, and other project functions.
  • Formulate and implement required workflows and maintains effective communication between participating departments.
  • Implement the integration of digitized images and required metadata into the required hosting system and provides for archival derivatives of all materials.
  • Ensure the application of required technical standards, best practices, and thorough documentation of results.
  • Provide input and planning for the acquisition and compilation of survey data and dissemination of research conclusions as appropriate.
Terms and Conditions:

Salary Package: Minimum 800 Omani Rials to the Maximum of 1400 Omani Rials (all inclusive). Salary will be fixed depending upon the skills, experience and position
a. For the successful candidates, Employer will provide
i. Air Ticket
ii. Medical and Gratuity as per the law and
iii. 30 days leave annually
b. It will be a Single Agreement for the staff
c. Employer will organize only for the family’s visa but the staff should take the responsibility of his family’s air ticket, accommodation and medical expenses

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5 years of related experience including handling archival materials.
  • Successful project management experience.
  • Excellent organizational, supervisory, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC and Macintosh computer systems and the ability to manipulate metadata and Web-based systems.
  • Working knowledge of digitization/scanning technology.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Specialized training in digitization/scanning technologies.
  • Experience in the administration of surveys and evaluations.
