Internship Description
We are seeking an experienced (1+ years) SEO specialist (PPC Program is a plus) who is comfortable handling accounts simultaneously.
- Gather all pertinent facts and performance statistics for a client’s website and formulate a comprehensive campaign strategy based on client’s goals, available resources/budget, and SEO best practices
- Perform all on-site optimization, including (but not limited to) writing optimized HTML, body copy, semantic markup, e-commerce optimizations, etc.
- Identify any on-site technical issues (bulky code, large files, HTML/CSS tweaks to enhance site speed etc) and how to repair them
- Perform competitive analysis both for keyword research and link intelligence
- Create and execute linkbuilding plans with a focus on creating a diverse inbound link portfolio with tactics that fall in line with 2014 best practices
- Collect all relevant performance metrics and create compelling and user-friendly reports for clients on a weekly/monthly basis
- Independently research current SEO methodologies to supplement on-the-job training in order to broaden SEO skill set
- PPC Programs (like AdWords & Facebook Ads) is a plus
Internship Requirements
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
- Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
